OIC Strongly Condemns Storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque Courtyards by Israeli Extremist Minister Ben-Gvir

Jerusalem: The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the incursion of the extremist minister of the Israeli occupation government, Itamar Ben-Gvir, into the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the OIC also condemned the continued closure of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the prevention of worshipers from accessing it for the 39th day in a row. This action is seen as a continuation of Israel's repeated violations of the sanctity of holy places and freedom of worship, as well as a violation of the Geneva Conventions and international law.

The organization held the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for the repercussions of the continuation of such daily Israeli attacks on the city of Jerusalem, its people, and holy sites. The OIC called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities towards putting an end to these Israeli violations, which could fuel religious conflict, extremism, and instability in the region.
