Post: OIC Condemns Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza Civilians

Gaza: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned the ongoing atrocities committed by Israeli occupation forces against civilians and displaced individuals in the Gaza Strip. The condemnation follows a recent series of airstrikes that resulted in the deaths of 31 Palestinians and left dozens injured.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the OIC described these attacks as a significant escalation and a blatant violation of the existing ceasefire agreement. The organization stated that these actions undermine international efforts aimed at maintaining calm and implementing the second phase of the agreement.

The OIC has placed full responsibility on Israel for the consequences of these attacks. It has called on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to ensure that Israel fulfills its obligations and implements the second phase in line with UN Security Council Resolution 2803.

Furthermore, the organization has urged for the opening of all crossings to allow for unhindered humanitarian aid. It has also called for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces, the initiation of early recovery and reconstruction efforts in Gaza, and the relaunch of a political process aimed at ending the occupation and achieving a two-state solution.
