Arraba: Israeli occupation bulldozers uprooted dozens of olive trees in the town of Arraba, south of Jenin, on Sunday.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the bulldozers uprooted the trees on a 25-dunam plot of land near the site of the Arraba military camp. The camp, which was evacuated in 2005, is set for expansion and a return of occupation forces.
Last December, Israeli forces compelled families who had resided in the camp since 2014 to leave. Subsequently, expansion, paving, and reconstruction efforts commenced to prepare for the reoccupation of the site.
Local sources further reported that Jihad Musa, an Arraba resident, received a notice from occupation forces regarding the impending demolition of three shops and his house near the Arraba gas station at the town's entrance. Musa was informed that the demolition would begin 48 hours after the notice.
