Tulkarem: Israeli forces have intensified their military presence at the entrances to the city of Tulkarem, implementing strict measures that include stopping and inspecting vehicles, thereby obstructing the movement of Palestinian residents.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources have reported that Israeli forces have installed a new iron gate beneath the Jabara Bridge at the southern entrance to Tulkarem. This installation, along with the placement of concrete blocks, has resulted in significant traffic congestion, as vehicles are prevented from passing through in both directions.
In addition, at the Enav military checkpoint located east of Tulkarem, soldiers have been actively stopping vehicles entering and exiting the city. These actions include conducting inspections, holding several vehicles, checking passengers' identity cards, and subjecting some individuals to interrogation. The measures have led to considerable delays and have raised concerns among the local population regarding the increased military activity in the area.
