Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces erected military checkpoints today in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and the town of Silwan in occupied East Jerusalem. Local sources indicated that the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the al-Rababa neighborhood of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and detained two young men and searched several vehicles at the checkpoint.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, occupation soldiers also erected another checkpoint in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, stopping and searching vehicles and obstructing the movement of Palestinian residents.
