Jenin: Israeli occupation forces today killed 7,000 laying hens and demolished a poultry farm in the village of Umm al-Rihan, west of Jenin, located behind the apartheid wall near the town of Ya'bad.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Jamal Kamel Zeid, the owner of the farm, reported that occupation soldiers electrocuted 7,000 four-month-old laying hens. Following this, an Israeli bulldozer demolished the 1,000-square-meter farm, leading to estimated losses of over 500,000 shekels.
Majdi Zeid, head of the Umm al-Rihan village council, described how Israeli military vehicles, accompanied by a bulldozer, entered the village, raided the farm, and carried out the destruction of the poultry and farm facilities.
