Occupation Forces Demolish Building Near Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces (IOF) began demolishing a building in the Qabr Hilweh area, east of Bethlehem, on Wednesday. Security sources indicated that the IOF stormed the area and commenced the demolition of a five-story building situated between the town of Dar Salah and the village of Shawawra. The building, owned by Ziad Adawi, was reportedly constructed without a permit.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the demolition is part of a broader pattern of actions by the IOF in the region. In July, the Israeli forces demolished 122 structures, including 60 inhabited homes, 11 uninhabited ones, 22 agricultural facilities, and 26 livelihood facilities. This activity reflects ongoing tensions and the enforcement of building regulations by the Israeli authorities.

Additionally, 33 demolition notices were delivered to Palestinian structures, further exacerbating the situation for local residents. These actions have raised concerns about the impact on the Palestinian community and the future of construction in the area.
