Occupation Forces Continue Raid on Kafr Sur Village

Tulkarm: Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Kafr Sur, south of Tulkarm, at dawn on Monday, carrying out a large-scale raid on dozens of homes and arresting several citizens.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the head of the village council, Fawaz Hamza, reported that the occupation forces entered the village at 2:00 a.m. and remained present. They targeted homes in the Ras al-Assad area and the center of the village, conducting field interrogations and converting the home of village council member Zahida Riyahi into a military barracks and investigation center.

Fawaz Hamza recounted that the forces raided his home, during which they blew up three main doors, searched and vandalized the contents, and restricted his movement until 10:00 a.m. He also mentioned the detention of several citizens during the raids.

In light of the ongoing military activity, Hamza stated that the Education Directorate decided to suspend school for all grades, postponing reopening until the situation stabilizes.

This incident is part of a broader Israeli assault on the city of Tulkarm and its two camps, Tulkarm and Nur Shams, which has persisted for 246 days, characterized by a tight siege and continuous military reinforcements, significantly disrupting the lives of residents.
