Ramallah: Israeli forces on Tuesday evening closed the western and only entrance to the village of Al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah, and prevented vehicles from entering or leaving the village, according to local sources.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, Israeli forces set up a military checkpoint at the village's western entrance, halting the movement of citizens and vehicles. This action has disrupted residents' access to their homes and workplaces amid heightened military measures in the area.
Israeli forces stormed the village, deploying across several neighborhoods while firing sound bombs and conducting search and combing operations. The raid involved intensive movements of occupation vehicles within the village, but there have been no confirmed reports of injuries or detentions.
In addition to the closure at Al-Mughayyir, the forces established a military checkpoint at the Ein Sinya gate, north of Ramallah, further obstructing vehicle movement leaving the city. Israeli forces continue to tighten military measures at entrances and roads across West Bank governorates, setting up checkpoints and closing roads, which exacerbates the daily struggles of the citizens.
