Occupation Forces Close Eastern Gate of Al-Lubban al-Sharqiya Near Nablus

Nablus: Israeli occupation forces closed the eastern gate of the town of Al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, located south of Nablus, on Monday. This move has significantly disrupted the daily lives of the town's residents.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the head of the Al-Lubban al-Sharqiya municipal council, Yaqoub Awais, reported that the occupation forces stormed the town after midnight. During the incursion, they fired tear gas and stun grenades, creating chaos and fear among the residents. The closure of the eastern entrance gate has severely obstructed the movement of people, particularly affecting residents, patients, and students. The closure has made it difficult for students to attend classes at the Al-Lubban Secondary School for Boys and the Al-Lubban Secondary School for Girls, causing significant disruption to their education.

The situation has raised concerns among the local population, as the closure of the gate is seen as a direct interference with their daily routines and access to essential services. The community is calling for immediate action to reopen the gate and restore normalcy to the town.
