Occupation Bans Jerusalemite from Entering Al-Aqsa Mosque for 6 Months

Jerusalem: The Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday issued an order banning a Jerusalemite citizen from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem for six months, after previously banning him for one week. This move is seen as part of a broader policy aimed at restricting the access of Palestinian Jerusalemites to Al-Aqsa Mosque, a significant religious and cultural site, thereby reducing their presence in the area.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the recent order is one of many such measures taken by authorities. Last October alone, 17 banning orders were issued, with 16 specifically restricting access to Al-Aqsa Mosque. These actions are viewed as efforts to empty the site of worshippers and local residents, impacting the daily lives and religious practices of the Palestinian community in Jerusalem.
