Post: Occupation Authorities Issue Order to Seize Land East of Tubas

Tubas: Israeli occupation authorities on Tuesday issued an order to seize dozens of dunums of land east of Tubas, according to a local official.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, Mutaz Basharat, an official responsible for monitoring colonial settlement activities in Tubas Governorate, stated that the occupation authorities issued a military order to seize 42 dunums of land. The land in question belongs to the village of Tayasir, located to the east of Tubas.

The seizure is being justified under the pretext of 'military purposes,' as per the military order. This action has raised concerns among the local population and officials monitoring settlement activities in the region. The decision is seen as part of ongoing issues related to land ownership and use in contested territories.
