Post: Nine Palestinians Injured in Israeli Colonist Attack on Huwara

Nablus: Nine Palestinians were injured on Saturday during an attack carried out by Israeli colonists on the town of Huwara, south of Nablus.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, among the injured was a member of the Huwara municipality, who sustained shrapnel injuries to the foot from live ammunition. Four other citizens were also injured as a result of being beaten, including one who suffered a head injury. Additionally, four others suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.

The correspondent reported that colonists surrounded a Palestinian man inside a sheep barn, and intense confrontations erupted in the area, involving gunfire. The attack also resulted in damage to several vehicles, with colonists smashing car windows and stealing a vehicle and a bicycle. They also seized approximately 35 sheep.

Rana Abu Haniyeh, the public relations officer for the Huwara municipality, stated that dozens of colonists attacked the municipal building and several homes in the town, directly assaulting them.
