Beit shemesh: Nine Israelis were killed and others were injured on Sunday in an Iranian missile attack on Israel.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, an Iranian missile struck the Beit Shemesh area, resulting in the deaths of nine people and injuries to dozens more, including four individuals who are in critical condition. The attack inflicted significant damage on residential buildings, and several people have been reported missing at the site.
The incident occurred shortly after Israel and the United States launched a military strike on Iran on Saturday morning. This attack targeted various facilities, ministries, and military leaders in Tehran, Tabriz in East Azerbaijan province, Isfahan, and several other Iranian provinces.
In retaliation, Iran launched ballistic missiles and drones into Israel, signaling a renewed confrontation between the two countries. This marks a significant escalation since their last conflict, which began on June 13, 2015.
