Netherlands: Netherlands condemned on Wednesday Israel's decision to proceed with the E1 colonial settlement project in the occupied West Bank. 'I condemn Israel's decision to advance its illegal E1 settlement plan, effectively splitting the occupied West Bank in two. Implementation of these plans constitutes a clear violation of international law and would make a future Palestinian state virtually impossible,' Netherlands Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp tweeted on X platform.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Veldkamp emphasized that both the Netherlands and the EU have consistently rejected such plans and the expansion of illegal settlements. He reiterated the commitment of the Netherlands to a negotiated two-state solution and urged Israel to refrain from taking any steps that would further undermine this effort.
