Jerusalem: Dozens of Israeli colonists stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Tuesday, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police. The Jerusalem Governorate said a total of 465 colonists stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards, conducting provocative tours of its courtyards and performing Talmudic rituals.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the incident involved a large number of colonists who entered the mosque compound, which has been a focal point of tension in the region. The visits, often seen as provocative, were carried out with the backing of the Israeli police, raising concerns over the potential for escalating tensions.
