Caracas: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has confirmed that there have been no casualties among the Palestinian community following the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela. The earthquakes have resulted in the deaths of at least 164 people and have injured nearly 1,000 others.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Ministry issued a statement affirming that there were no reports of Palestinian casualties. The Ministry emphasized its ongoing efforts to monitor the situation of the Palestinian community closely through the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Venezuela to ensure their safety and well-being.
The Ministry extended its wishes for the safety and well-being of the Venezuelan people, expressing confidence in their resilience to overcome the crisis. It also conveyed solidarity with the families of the victims.
