Medics, Journalists, and Foreign Activists Injured in Colonist Attack Near Nablus

Nablus: Several paramedics, journalists, and international solidarity activists were injured on Saturday during an attack by colonists in the town of Beita, south of Nablus. Beita Deputy Mayor Muhammad Hamayel stated that colonists targeted participants in an olive harvest event on the lands of Jabal Qamas, causing injuries through stone-throwing.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its crews attended to multiple injuries from severe beatings, involving volunteer paramedics and journalists. Three of the injured individuals required hospitalization.

Press sources identified the injured journalists as Raneen Sawafteh, Muhammad Al-Atrash, Luay Saeed, Nael Buital, and Nasser Ishtayeh, who suffered bruises and fractures and were subsequently hospitalized. Additionally, one international solidarity activist sustained bruises and was also taken to the hospital.
