Massacre in Gaza Claims 15 Lives, Leaves 50 Injured

Gaza: At least 15 civilians were killed and 50 others injured on Saturday in a massacre in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, reportedly carried out by Israeli occupation forces.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources indicated that Israeli warplanes targeted a house with two missiles in the Sabra neighborhood, resulting in the deaths of at least 15 civilians, including six children, and injuring more than 50 individuals.

Rescue crew sources expressed concern that the death toll could exceed 30 due to the number of missing persons following the shelling. They characterized the situation at the scene as dire.

The rescue teams reported that their operational capabilities are very limited, yet they are making efforts to fulfill their duties, albeit with a need for more equipment. The crews are actively working to rescue any survivors and recover bodies from the targeted site.

They also noted that the Israeli shelling led to three vehicles catching fire in the Sabra neighborhood.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has been responsible for genocidal acts in the Gaza Strip, resulting in over 180,000 casualties, including many children and women. There are also more than 11,000 missing and hundreds of thousands displaced. Additionally, a famine has claimed numerous lives, including those of children, amidst widespread destruction.
