Post: Macron Challenges Trump to End Gaza Conflict for Nobel Peace Prize

New york: French President Emmanuel Macron has stated that if US President Donald Trump desires the Nobel Peace Prize, he must take decisive action to end the ongoing war in Gaza. Macron emphasized that Trump is uniquely positioned to exert pressure on Israel due to the United States' role as a major supplier of military equipment.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Macron, speaking in a press interview from New York, highlighted Trump's potential influence, saying, "There is only one person who can do something about this, and that is the president of the United States. The reason he can do more than we can is that we do not supply weapons that enable war in Gaza. We do not provide equipment that enables war in Gaza. The United States does this."

Macron further commented on Trump's recent speech at the United Nations, noting the president's expressed desire for peace. "I see an American president who is engaged in this matter. He repeated this morning from the podium: 'I want peace. I have resolved seven conflicts,' and he wants the Nobel Peace Prize. This prize can only be obtained by ending this conflict," Macron remarked.
