Lebanon Reports Nearly 400 Fatalities and Over 1,110 Injuries Amid Israeli Attacks

Beirut: At least 394 people have been killed and 1,130 injured in ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon since Monday, the country's health minister said Sunday. Rakan Nassereddine addressed a press conference, revealing that among those killed in the attacks were 42 women and 83 children, while the injured included 274 women and 254 children.

According to Anadolu Agency, Israel has intensified its military campaign in Lebanon following limited rocket fire by Hezbollah. This escalation is part of broader regional tensions linked to the conflict initiated by Israel and the US against Iran. Although a ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah has been in place since November 2024, Israel has maintained near-daily military actions that have resulted in significant casualties.

Israel's military operations in Lebanon, which began in October 2023, have escalated into a full-scale war since September 2024. These actions have resulted in the deaths of more than 4,000 people and injuries to 17,000 others, marking a significant humanitarian crisis in the region.
