Lebanon: 1,024 Killed, 2,740 Injured Since March 2

Beirut: The Disaster Risk Management Unit at the Lebanese Prime Minister's Office announced that 1,024 people have been killed, while 2,740 others have been injured since March 2nd.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli occupation airstrikes and shelling on several locations in Lebanon resulted in the killing of three citizens and the injury of 99 others. The report highlighted the impact of ongoing hostilities on the civilian population and infrastructure.

The report further detailed that the number of shelters opened across the country has reached 644 centers. These shelters are currently accommodating 134,236 displaced individuals, with the total number of displaced families reaching 33,117. The situation continues to strain resources and challenge the capacity of local authorities to provide adequate support to those affected.
