Lebanese Health Ministry: 52 Killed, 154 Others Injured Due to Israeli Strikes

Beirut: The death toll from Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon rose to 52 with 154 injuries, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry. Israeli fighter jets targeted a residential apartment in the al-Janah area in Beirut's southern suburbs, resulting in several civilian casualties and injuries.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Lebanese Minister of Social Affairs Haneen Said announced the opening of 171 shelters across Lebanon. These shelters are currently providing refuge to around 29,000 displaced people amidst the ongoing conflict.

In a wide wave of airstrikes, Israeli fighter jets targeted areas including Al-Biqa and the southern suburb of Beirut, leading to the destruction of dozens of buildings. The situation has escalated tensions in the region, with significant damage reported in the affected areas.
