Kuwait City: Kuwait condemned Tuesday the Israeli occupation's decision to cut off electricity supplies to the Gaza Strip. In a statement, Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli occupation forces' practices and the use of the policy of collective punishment against the Palestinian people. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Kuwait criticized the decision to cut off electricity as a violation of fundamental rights and principles of international law and international humanitarian law. Kuwait renewed its call on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to intervene immediately to halt the violations committed by the occupation forces. It urged for the unimpeded entry of humanitarian aid and called on Israel, the occupying power, to refrain from the policy of starvation and deprivation against Palestinians.
