Journalists Syndicate: The occupation commits a new massacre against journalists


RAMALLAH: The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate condemned the recent Israeli massacre of several journalists in the line of duty at the Asma School in the al-Shati (Beach) refugee camp west of Gaza City. It condemned the occupation’s deliberate targeting of the three journalists while striving to convey the truth.

The three journalists were identified as Sa’ed Radwan, head of the digital media department at the Al-Aqsa satellite channel, Hamza Abu Salima, a journalist at the Snd News Agency, and Haneen Baroud, a media worker and journalist at the Jerusalem Foundation.

It asserted its commitment to pursuing legal action against those responsible for these brutal crimes against journalists, stressing that it will not falter to utilize all available legal measures to hold accountable war criminals who intentionally target the voice of truth.

The Syndicate urged the international community and relevant organizations to take a decisive and effective stance against the heinous crimes targeting Palestinian journa
lists, who work in the most difficult circumstances and risk their lives to convey the suffering of their people to the world.

The Syndicate reaffirmed in a statement its unwavering commitment to defending the rights of journalists.

Earlier today, an Israeli strike on Asma School, which has been serving as a shelter for those displaced by the ongoing Israeli aggression, resulted in the killing of several civilians, including three journalists, in addition to several injuries.
