Israel’s Genocide in Gaza: 14 Palestinians Killed in 24 Hours

Gaza: At least 14 Palestinians were killed and 25 others injured in deadly attacks by Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, according to medical reports.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7, 2023, has risen to 46,913 reported fatalities, with an additional 110,750 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

This morning, a long-awaited ceasefire took effect following 15 months of Israeli attacks, siege, and starvation that left significant consequences in their wake.

The agreement, which was brokered by Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on Wednesday, January 15, was ratified by the Israeli government on Saturday, January 18. According to the agreement, the ceasefire was set to begin at 8:30 AM Sunday morning.
