Gaza city: Israeli strikes on Wednesday evening resulted in the deaths of three Palestinian civilians and injuries to several others in Gaza City. The attacks targeted a tent sheltering displaced individuals, causing significant casualties.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Israeli shelling struck a displaced persons' tent in the Al-Shati (Beach) refugee camp, leading to the deaths of three civilians. In a separate incident, Israeli warplanes attacked a group of civilians near the Palestine Mosque in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, resulting in additional casualties.
Further violence was reported as a civilian was fatally shot by Israeli forces along the coastal road in Beit Lahia, situated in the northern part of the Strip. Israeli airstrikes throughout the day have demolished a residential tower, over ten homes, and numerous tents in Gaza City, displacing hundreds of civilians.
Additionally, Israeli artillery resumed its shelling in areas east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. Hospitals in Gaza have reported that at least 59 Palestinians have been killed since dawn, with 38 casualties occurring in Gaza City alone.
