Post: Israeli Strikes Result in 15 Fatalities Across Southern Lebanon

Beirut: A series of Israeli strikes early Friday morning resulted in the deaths of 15 people across southern Lebanon, as reported by Lebanon's National News Agency. The strikes targeted multiple towns, causing significant destruction and leaving several people missing. According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the Israeli occupation army executed multiple attacks in the towns of Al-Sharqiya, Harouf, and Kfarsir in the Nabatieh district. These airstrikes focused on residential areas, leading to numerous fatalities and injuries. The situation in Nabatieh and its surrounding regions became increasingly dire with heavy artillery shelling targeting areas such as the city of Nabatieh, Kfarjouz, and several other towns. Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes on various locations, including Nabatieh city and its neighborhoods, as well as Harouf's Al-Baydar neighborhood. These attacks resulted in the deaths of eight citizens. An airstrike on the Al-Ashamiya area between Al-Sharqiya and Doueir destroyed a house and claimed the lives of four people, while intensive artillery shelling struck Nabatieh's Al-Rahibat neighborhood. In Kfarsir, an airstrike led to three fatalities. Additional attacks targeted the town of Qsaybeh, with artillery shelling affecting the outskirts of Kfarsir and Qsaybeh, and strikes reported in Kfardajjal and Kfartebnit. A combat drone strike in Doueir killed one person and injured another. The town of Jibchit also experienced drone strikes in conjunction with artillery shelling.
