Israeli Strikes in Gaza Result in Seven Civilian Deaths and Multiple Injuries

Gaza: Seven civilians, including three children, were killed and several others injured following Israeli occupation drone attacks targeting civilian areas in the Jabalia refugee camp and the city of Khan Yunis in the northern and southern Gaza Strip.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, two civilians lost their lives and several others sustained injuries when Israeli drones targeted a group in Jabalia camp. In a similar incident, two more civilians, including a 12-year-old child, were killed, and others were injured in drone attacks on a group of civilians in the Japanese neighborhood west of Khan Yunis.

Three additional civilians, among them two children, were killed in Israeli strikes that targeted a tent housing displaced persons in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis. WAFA correspondent, citing medical sources, reported that 41 civilians have been killed in various Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip since dawn today.

The sources further revealed that laboratories and blood banks in the remaining hospitals are operating at merely 40% capacity due to damaged equipment and the overwhelming demand for medical tests. These facilities are also grappling with a shortage of regular maintenance and spare parts. According to the sources, 60% of the medical devices have been destroyed, with sabotage by the Israeli occupation causing numerous malfunctions. Urgent additional medical equipment is required to meet the high demand for diagnostic tests for patients and the injured.
