Gaza strip: Four civilians were killed and several others injured on Friday evening in an Israeli artillery strike targeting a group of civilians waiting for aid near Wadi Gaza Bridge in the central Gaza Strip. This incident increases the total number of Palestinians killed in Gaza since dawn to approximately 70, including children and women.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli attacks across the Strip have been targeting aid seekers, tents, civilian homes, and civilian gatherings since the early hours of Friday. Medical sources also reported that the death toll from an Israeli strike on the Al-Dada family home in Jabalia in northern Gaza has risen to 11.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, as the occupying power, has been conducting a military campaign in the Gaza Strip, characterized by mass killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement. This has been carried out in defiance of international calls and binding orders from the International Court of Justice to cease the aggression.
The ongoing conflict has resulted in over 192,000 civilians killed and wounded, predominantly women and children. Additionally, more than 11,000 individuals remain missing, hundreds of thousands have been displaced, and a famine has claimed countless lives, including those of dozens of children.
