Gaza city: Several civilians were killed and others injured on Sunday evening due to Israeli shelling targeting Gaza City and the central Gaza Strip.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the assault included an attack on the top floor of a residential tower near the Saraya Junction, resulting in the death of a female civilian and injuries to others.
In a separate incident, two civilians lost their lives and several others were injured by Israeli artillery fire on a residential apartment near a tower in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, located west of Gaza City. Furthermore, an attack in central Deir Al-Balah led to the deaths of four individuals and injuries to more civilians. A female was also killed in artillery shelling targeting the Al-Masdar area, south of the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
Since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have been conducting continuous assaults on the Gaza Strip. This has resulted in the deaths of 63,459 civilians, primarily women and children, and injuries to 160,256 others. The reported figures are still incomplete as many victims remain trapped under debris or stranded, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue teams.
