Israeli Raids Trigger Clashes Across West Bank

West Bank: Israeli occupation Saturday conducted multiple raids across the occupied West Bank, according to local sources. They reported that the occupying forces entered the Dheisheh refugee camp, deploying along the main street and inciting confrontations. The soldiers fired concussion grenades and tear gas canisters, but no injuries were reported.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, similar raids occurred in al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem. There, the forces used concussion grenades and tear gas to disperse protesters without causing injuries. In the Nablus governorate, Fouad Hassan, an anti-colonial settlement activist, stormed Qusra town, firing gunfire and tear gas, which led to more confrontations. He confirmed another raid in Qaryout village, where soldiers fired gunfire and tear gas, chasing and detaining two minors.

In Hebron, heavily armed soldiers visited the family house of Iyad Hreibat in Dura town, using concussion grenades and tear gas against civilians, resulting in several suffocation cases. The soldiers also rammed their military vehicle into several Palestinian-registered vehicles, causing damage.

In Tulkarm governorate, separate raids were conducted in Kafr al-Labbad, Anabta, and Bal'a towns, where forces opened gunfire towards residents and obstructed vehicle movement. Meanwhile, in Ramallah governorate, forces raided Deir Jarir, setting up a checkpoint downtown without immediate reports of detentions.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian homes across the West Bank, claiming to search for 'wanted' individuals, often leading to clashes. These actions occur without search warrants, as the military exercises sweeping arbitrary powers. Under Israeli military law, army commanders possess full authority over the 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank, leaving Palestinians without any say in this governance.
