Hebron: Israeli occupation forces detained two Palestinian journalists on Saturday evening while they were working in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and confiscated their equipment. Journalist Ihab Al-Alami reported that he and his colleague, Nidal Al-Natsheh, were detained by Israeli soldiers while documenting agricultural damage on Palestinian-owned land near the illegal Israeli settlement of Karmei Tzur, which is illegally built near the town. Al-Alami stated that Israeli forces seized three cameras from them before forcing them to leave the area.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, this incident is part of ongoing Israeli restrictions on press freedom in the occupied Palestinian territories, where journalists frequently face harassment, detention, and equipment confiscation while carrying out their work.
