Jaba: Israeli occupation forces closed the Jaba military checkpoint, which separates the towns of Al-Ram and Jaba north of occupied Jerusalem, on Friday. Local sources reported that the Israeli military shut the iron gate installed at the checkpoint and prevented Palestinian vehicles from passing, causing severe traffic congestion.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the checkpoint was also closed last Tuesday, resulting in major traffic jams and obstructing the movement of residents to and from Jerusalem and southern West Bank areas.
