Post: Israeli Occupation Authorities Halt Construction in Northern Jordan Valley

Ein al-hilweh: Israeli occupation authorities on Wednesday ordered a halt on the construction of residential structures and livestock barns in the community of Ein al-Hilweh in the northern Jordan Valley, according to a colonial settlement watchdog.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, Mutaz Besharat reported that the occupying forces stormed the community and handed Fathi Daraghmeh a notice. The notice ordered him to stop the construction of several residential structures and livestock barns. The order is said to remain valid until a hearing scheduled for June 10.

This morning, bulldozers accompanied by military vehicles entered the community with the intent to demolish the homes of Adel and Fathi Daraghmeh. The families' lawyer stated that the Israeli military command ignored an official address he submitted regarding the demolition orders on April 20, 2026.
