Israeli Occupation Army Raid School, Attack Students South of Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces Tuesday attacked Palestinian students from the al-Khader school district, south of Bethlehem, according to local sources. They told WAFA that Israeli soldiers attacked the students near the Tall area in the Old City as they were heading home after school, during which the gun-toting soldiers fired tear gas and sound bombs at them.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the raid occurred in the afternoon as students were making their way back home. The soldiers' use of tear gas and sound bombs caused chaos but fortunately resulted in no injuries or detentions. The incident took place in the historically significant Old City area, which has been a frequent flashpoint for tensions.

The local community has expressed concern over the safety of students and has called for measures to ensure their protection. The use of force in areas frequented by children has been condemned by community leaders, who are urging for a peaceful resolution to such confrontations.
