Gaza: Israeli occupation forces continue their violations in the Gaza Strip, with renewed shelling, gunfire, and ground incursions reported in several areas across the territory.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli warplanes targeted the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City on Sunday morning. Concurrently, military vehicles advanced toward the vicinity of al-Qaaqaa Mosque on al-Shaaf Street, engaging in excavation works accompanied by heavy gunfire.
Further reports indicate that Israeli military vehicles fired machine gunfire intensively at tents and homes in the Jabalia refugee camp located in the northern Gaza Strip. The situation remains tense with artillery shelling and gunfire continuing east of Khan Younis in the southern part of the enclave.
Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11 last year, more than 1,820 Palestinians have been killed or injured as a result of over 1,300 violations of the agreement carried out by the Israeli occupation forces.
