Bethlehem:Israeli forces opened fire on a vehicle in the village of Janata, east of Bethlehem, on Sunday evening and subsequently detained the vehicle. No injuries were reported in the incident.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA – English, Palestinian security sources confirmed the firing at the vehicle and its subsequent detention by the forces.
The Janata area and its surroundings experienced heightened military activity, including the establishment of checkpoints. These measures involved searches of Palestinian vehicles, confiscation of identity cards, and obstruction of Palestinians attempting to pass through the checkpoints.
