Israeli Military Bulldozers Demolish Palestinian Houses in Nour Shams Camp

Tulkarm: Israeli military bulldozers have commenced the demolition of several Palestinian houses and residential buildings in the Nour Shams camp, located east of Tulkarm city. According to WAFA correspondent, the occupation forces have pushed heavy bulldozers into the camp, beginning the process of demolishing houses and destroying their surroundings from the vicinity of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque. This operation is being conducted amidst the intensive flying of reconnaissance aircraft at low altitudes. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the escalation follows a notification issued by the occupation five days ago regarding the demolition of 11 houses. The action is reportedly under the pretext of paving a road extending from the camp square to Al-Manshiya neighborhood. The affected houses belong to the families of Yousef, Jabali, Mar'i, Abu Shalabiya, Irani, Shihab, Younis, and Ghanem. Following the notification, the owners of these homes were given a three-hour window to enter the ca mp and evacuate their belongings. In a related development, the occupation forces have continued raiding homes in the Jabal al-Nasr neighborhood. These raids, which began last night, have forced residents to evacuate under duress, with the forces reportedly firing live bullets and sound bombs to intimidate the residents. The ongoing aggression has resulted in a significant displacement of camp residents, affecting over 5,500 individuals, including women, children, the elderly, and the sick. These displaced persons have sought refuge in shelters and the homes of relatives within the city and its surrounding areas. This escalation is part of a broader aggression on the city and its camps, which has persisted for 33 consecutive days. The operation is supported by large military reinforcements, including vehicles, bulldozers, and infantry units, which have maintained a siege on the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps. The forces are reportedly stationed on Nablus Street, where they have seized several residential buil dings and converted them into military barracks.
