Salfit: Israeli forces uprooted dozens of olive trees on Thursday in the northwestern part of Deir Ballut, west of Salfit. Local sources reported that Israeli bulldozers entered agricultural land in the area known as Wadi Awad, proceeding to bulldoze and uproot olive trees aged 10-15 years. These trees belonged to several residents of the town, resulting in significant damage to the agricultural land and affecting the livelihoods of the local population.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, on Wednesday, Israeli troops also razed Palestinian-owned land and uprooted dozens of olive trees in the Al-Masrara roundabout area of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit. In addition, approximately 70 mature olive trees were uprooted at the entrance to Kafr Haris, further north, as part of efforts to expand settlement activity.
