Beit ur al-fawqa: Israeli occupation forces uprooted dozens of olive and forest trees on Tuesday in the village of Beit 'Ur al-Fawqa, west of Ramallah, according to local sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Ali Samara, head of the village council, reported that Israeli bulldozers uprooted the trees while leveling tens of dunums of land in the western area of the village. This land belongs to eight residents and is situated near the military checkpoint at the village entrance.
Samara further explained that the occupation authorities notified residents of plans to level approximately 50 dunums in both the eastern and western areas of the village. Most of this land is planted with olive trees.
