Gaza city: Seven Palestinians were killed and several others injured early Tuesday after Israeli forces targeted civilians awaiting humanitarian aid near the Netzarim corridor south of Gaza City, according to medical sources in the enclave.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the deadly incident follows a similar attack overnight, in which 11 aid-seekers were killed in the same area. This has raised serious concerns about the escalating danger facing civilians across Gaza, where aid distribution points have increasingly turned into death traps.
Health officials report that the death toll of those killed while seeking food has now exceeded 1,021, with more than 6,511 injured. The repeated targeting of civilians in these areas highlights the severe risks associated with accessing humanitarian assistance in the region.
