Israeli Forces Storm Funeral in Hebron for Palestinian Killed in Gaza Airstrike


Hebron: Israeli forces stormed a funeral in Hebron on Friday night for a Palestinian man who had been exiled to Gaza and was killed yesterday, Thursday, in an Israeli airstrike, according to local sources.



According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, a correspondent in Hebron reported that Israeli forces raided the funeral procession of Ayman Abu Dawood in the Wadi al-Hariyya neighborhood of the city. The forces disrupted the ceremony, firing stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the mourners. In addition, soldiers destroyed chairs and forcibly evacuated everyone from the site.



Abu Dawood, who had been a former detainee, was killed on Thursday in an Israeli airstrike on the Gaza Strip. He had been exiled to the Strip several years ago.
