Hebron: A sixteen-year-old Palestinian student was injured by live fire on Monday during confrontations with Israeli forces in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, according to local sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli troops stormed the town to conduct the demolition of a six-storey residential building. During the operation, live ammunition was fired at residents, including school students, resulting in the injury of the student.
The injured student sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and was subsequently transferred to Hebron Governmental Hospital for medical treatment.
