Israeli Forces Shoot and Kill Palestinian in Northern Gaza Strip

Jabalia: Israeli occupation forces on Monday evening shot and killed a Palestinian in Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, according to medical sources. They reported that the occupation forces opened fire at a Palestinian beyond their areas of deployment, resulting in his death and raising the number of Palestinians killed to three in the Strip since Monday morning.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, victims remain buried under the rubble and in roads as rescue teams continue to face challenges in reaching them. Israel has been conducting a military campaign on the Strip since October 2023, which has led to the deaths of 71,660 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, and injuries to 171,419 others.

Furthermore, at least 10,000 individuals are unaccounted for, presumed dead beneath the debris of their homes across the Strip. The Israeli aggression has also caused the displacement of nearly two million people from throughout the Gaza Strip. Most of the displaced have been forced into the densely packed southern city of Rafah near the Egyptian border, marking the largest mass exodus in Palestine since the 1948 Nakba.
