Israeli Forces Seize Concrete Pump and Mixer Near Hebron

Hebron: Israeli occupation forces Thursday seized a concrete pump and mixer while they were working in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron. Activist Osama Makhamreh confirmed that the occupation forces seized the pump and mixer while they were working in the home of local resident Salama Ali Al-Atmin, in the village of Al-Zuwaydin in the Bedouin desert in Masafer Yatta, noting that the house is located within the master plan of the village in which citizens are allowed to build.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the equipment was taken despite the fact that the construction carried out by Al-Atmin was in accordance with the local building regulations. The incident has raised concerns among local residents about the ongoing tensions and restrictions in the area. The seizure of the construction equipment is seen as part of a broader pattern of disruptions faced by residents in Masafer Yatta.

The region has been a focal point of contention, with residents often experiencing interruptions in their daily activities due to the presence of Israeli forces. The latest incident is expected to further impact the dynamics in the village, where the residents continue to advocate for their right to build and live without interference.
