Gaza city: Israeli occupation forces on Thursday closed the Bab al-Zawiya area of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron. This area serves as the city's main market and business hub.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, a large force of Israeli soldiers raided Bab al-Zawiya and sealed off Bir As-Sabi, which leads into the area. The correspondent reported that soldiers, armed with guns, dispersed residents and forced shop owners to close their businesses. Vehicles were also cleared from the area to facilitate the entry of dozens of colonists into an archaeological site.
