Post: Israeli Forces Seal Off Central Hebron for Colonist Incursion

Hebron: Israeli occupation forces closed the Bab al-Zawiya area and Beersheba Street, leading to Hebron's city center, on Saturday to secure a colonist incursion into what settlers claim is an archaeological site.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, large numbers of Israeli soldiers raided the Bab al-Zawiya area in the city center, forcing shop owners to close their businesses and dispersing residents to clear the area and provide protection for dozens of colonists who stormed the archaeological site located along Beersheba Street.

Hebron has been witnessing a significant escalation in colonist incursions into archaeological and religious sites, accompanied by repressive measures and closures imposed by Israeli forces on residents to secure such incursions.
