Israeli Forces Raze Palestinian-Owned Agricultural Land Near Ramallah

RAMALLAH: Israeli forces on Tuesday razed a large swath of Palestinian-owned agricultural land in the village of Umm Safa, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Marwan Sabbah, Head of Umm Safa Village Council, reported that the occupying forces levelled cultivated lands belonging to several villagers in the Jabal Al-Ras area, which forms an integral part of the village.

Sabbah explained that the occupying forces had issued military orders expropriating large tracts of the villagers' lands in the northern part of the village. The purpose of this expropriation is to make room for the expansion of a nearby colonial outpost.
