Israeli Forces Raid Sebastia, Injure Youth

Sebastia: Israeli occupation forces shot and wounded a young man with live ammunition and assaulted a child, a young woman, and a young man during a raid last night on the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus. The raid resulted in heightened tensions in the region as local residents faced severe restrictions.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Sebastia Mayor Mohammad Azem reported that the occupation forces stormed the town with several military vehicles and a foot force. During the incursion, they raided several homes and conducted a field investigation with the residents, resulting in the assault of a child, a young woman, and a young man.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) confirmed that its crews responded to a 22-year-old man injured by live ammunition in the chest and back. The injured individual was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. The situation in Sebastia remains tense as the raid continues, with Israeli soldiers imposing a curfew inside the town.
